Barlafumble, Mighty Bloodmyst Huntress

I posted a similar xmog on Barlaroo a while ago. I began doing Loremaster on Barlafumble and she picked up the same mail set while questing on Bloodmyst - so this is a "grown-up" transmog version of it. I really like how it turned out.

Items:
Head: Mask of Inner Fire (shown below)
Shoulders: Lightning-Charged Spaulders
Chest: Tunic of the Dragon Slayer
Waist: Cursed Demonchain Belt
Legs: Heavy Chain Leggings
Feet: Tsunami Boots
Gloves: Eredar Fel-Chain Gloves
Ranged: Vishanka, Jaws of the Earth

Wowhead Item Comparison.

Shiny new gun on stinky ol' Barla.

Poor Barla.. I haven't changed her transmog since my last post in February. She must be pretty smelly by now.

Sorry about that (if anyone is actually reading this - LOL).

BUT I wanted to show you my new gun! Shiny!!

The Xorothian Firestick can only be obtained if you know or can find a Warlock who has completed the Dreadsteed quest back in Vanilla. The boss can still be summoned if that lock either has the items or can buy them from Gorzeeki Wildeyes in Burning Steppes.

There is the Crystal Slugthrower which is BOE, but has been removed from the game when Cataclysm hit, and if you're very very very very very very very lucky, you might find it in the AH.

The only other unique item that this boss drops is a shield - the Dreadguard's Protector.

Finally! A decent mog for Pauldrons of Primal Fury!

So I've had the shoulders for a while, but didn't manage to get the complete "set" from Zul'Aman before it was changed. Well.. not totally true thanks to Legion! I have the other pieces on a Horde hunter - so YAY!!

Anyway, I've never been able to find a suitable set or even pieces that looked decent with the Pauldrons of Primal Fury until I took a closer look at the Rancorbite set I picked up in Draenor. It almost feels like cheating, using an entire set and calling it mogging, but there it is.

Don't get me wrong, I love mogging entire sets, but I usually enjoy making mogs of different pieces and not sets.

Okay, I'll stop talking and grab some more coffee... Here's Barla:

Shoulders: Pauldrons of Primal Fury
Chest: Rancorbite Chain Shirt
Gloves: Rancorbite Grips
Waist: Crystal-Buckle Belt
Legs: Rancorbite Leggings
Feet: Tsunami Boots
Bow: Stoneshatter (Because big dps from a tiny bow is the AWESOMESAUCE)

Barlafumble

I'm liking this look. I'd love for some slim glove version tho. I've been buying the more "fun" belts with Conquest and Honor points.

Shoulders: Mistshroud Shoulders
Chest: Ro'shak's Molten Chain
Waist: Wild Gladiator's Waistguard of Cruelty
Legs: Conduit-Breaker Chain Leggings
Feet: Tsunami Boots
Gloves: Yaungol Slayer's Gloves

This makes me wish I had a male NE hunter friend..

I was browsing forums this morning and saw this mog.. it's almost perfect. I try to keep Barla looking hunterish, but this hunter look wins for real!

Meet Thrustidon of Decipher on Frostmane. I don't know him/her, never met him/her, but I love how he/she thinks!!

Shoulders: Willow Spaulders
Chest: Marauder's Tunic
Gloves: Cragfists
Waist: Cormorant Waistband
Legs: Giantstalkers Leggings
Feet: Tsunami Boots
Weapon: Stoneshatter

This is what Wowhead shows it would look like on a female Draenei:

Stoneshatter is one of my favorite transmog crossbows - especially when she's mogged into something big and scary with a teeny tiny weapon.. I dunno.. I enjoy irony.

The only thing I'd want to change would be the gloves, but otherwise.. that's a fantastic NE hunter look!

Barlafumble... feeling a little "blah" about this mog.

I got this belt last week or so and wanted to make a mog with it. This turned out ok. I try to keep Barla's mogs pretty simple, but I think this needs a little more.. "oomph". Any suggestions?

Shoulders: Barrage Shoulders
Chest: Vest of the Den Watcher
Waist: Abandoned Zandalari Waterchain
Legs: Leggings of Broken Magic (This will take you to a green version.. not my fault! Don't know why Wowhead can't get this one to work right.)
Feet: Tsunami Boots
Gloves: Grips of Chronological Events
Shirt: Gilnean Adventurer's Shirt

Briskette

I think Briskette was my original Barlafumble from years ago. So many realm/faction kind of got her lost somewhere along the line, but she's still alive and kicking on Llane (Horde) in Barla's sister guild, Solstice.

It's pretty lonely there, but sometimes that's just want I want so I head on over and quest a bit.

Here's Briskette today at level 72.

I love this mail set!

Shoulders: Lo'ap's Muck Diving Pads
Chest: Oversized Ogre Hauberk
Waist: Cord of the Ring
Legs: Warcaster's Scaled Leggings
Feet: Venn'ren's Boots
Gloves: Sha'tari Marksman's Gloves
